Sumario:The quantity and relevance of trips made by representatives of the Argentine avant-garde in the 1920s allows us to propose the 'avant-garde travel' as a specific form of travel, which is characterized by the export and exchange of novel cultural products in the search of national and regional identities. In this sense, the magazines and newspapers of the time acted as cultural catalysts. Thus, they contributed to the formation of intellectual networks by playing a very important role as promoters of this type of travel. The objective of this work is to cover the history of the most representative publication of the argentine avant-garde, Martín Fierro, from 1924 to 1927 to observe the way in which the promotion of travel was carried out as an editorial policy. To this end, the analysis will focus on the travel records of the artists and intellectuals who were sponsored by the magazine, as well as on the visits of "agents" of the avant-garde hosted by the martinfierrista group. Additionally, the article proposes a classification of the various journalistic texts that respond to said editorial policy.
