Sumario:This descriptive study highlights the successful implementation of flipped classroom and inquiry-based teaching strategies as innovative pedagogical approaches to strengthen Natural Science Didactics. The purpose is to introduce the use of these strategies within the framework of the workshop classroom to enhance teaching and learning processes in initial teacher education. The challenge of fostering understanding and interest, and skill development is approched so as to build innovative classroom designs. A different type question assessment tool was created to measure the participants insight. Although these approaches may present significant contradictions, their combined application is reveals itself as an effective strategy. An inverted classroom allows students to build on prior knowledge with multimedia resources, optimizing time for a meaningful interaction. Inquiry-based teaching enables the analysis of problematic situations, involving students in the scientific process through exploration. Results indicate that students experience increased motivation, curiosity, and creativity, achieving autonomy in knowledge building. In conclusion, the conjunction of these strategies enhances the learning of Natural Science Didactics, offering students an innovative perspective for teaching Sciences in school.
