Sumario: | We intend to address the experience of continuous teacher training in the area of philosophy within the framework of the training policy that the province of Buenos Aires has been developing for several years, and that has allowed to massively reach teachers, managers and other educational actors through courses and various ongoing training actions. To the field of philosophy, it constitutes an unprecedented experience, sustained over thirteen years, in one of the largest educational jurisdictions in the region in terms of numberS of teachers, students and schools. A work team was formed there, made up of teachers with academic training in philosophy. The team developed and carried out courses and seminars aimed at teachers of philosophy and other disciplinary areas. In this paper we develop some philosophical and political principles brought into play in that training experience, and at the same time we offer some ideas that concern both the initial training of philosophy teachers and the place of philosophy in school. |
