Sumario:The socio-ecological crisis is a challenge for survival on the planet, it is not only an environmental crisis but also reproduces patterns of social inequality. It appears as the most urgent challenge especially for the peoples of the Global South. Various visions, even religious ones, support the existence of both dimensions. They identify the challenges created by technology, financialization, and concentrated power. They question, antagonize and politicize, with an extractivist model, their cultural patterns of consumption and entertainment. The States could be instruments of reversing the path, their agents and articulations must have the capabilities and the intention to do so.
